Chris Tuck – West Sussex Franchise

When Chris Tuck's Mother broke her arm in 1963, Chris took a temporary job at the local Bramley Laundry. A temporary job that saw Chris stay with White Knight for 43 years.

In 2004 he has took the plunge and now owns his own White Knight door2door collection and delivery franchise.

"I thought it was time to make up my mind about the business I have been in all my life" says Chris. He believed that the future for Laundry and Dry Cleaning services was bright and it was time for another long term commitment.
 
The area is along the Sussex Coast from Worthing to Wittering and inland from Horsham to Haselmere. It has to be one of the most delightful runs of all but it is not all roses. There are a lot of miles to cover and the routes need good planning and local knowledge.

Chris says "I must be passing people every mile who would take up this service if they knew me. I need to set up clusters of customers all along each of the routes. One way is to use the village shops." More deliveries for the same distance is the challenge.

Along with wife, son and daughter Chris has a stack of music in their Knaphill home. With an eclectic collection of over 2000 CDs and 2000 Vinyl Albums any end of day feelings can be catered for.
